Racing

Ballylinch Stud has a long history of not just breeding elite racehorses, but also racing them. We have horses in training with leading trainers across Ireland, Britain, France and Australia. The green and orange silks saw continued success in 2022, Self Belief won a Listed race and Maristella earned her Blacktype, but it was the horses owned in partnership that recorded the most significant wins. Bayside Boy, Bay Bridge and Place du Carrousel all recorded Group 1 wins while Surf Dancer and Francesco Guardi won Group 2 races in Australia.

Pre-Training

In keeping with our excellent record of producing young horses, we also pre-train for some of the world’s most successful breeders and trainers.  Our facilities include an all-weather seven furlong uphill gallop, an all-weather two furlong flat circular gallop, acres of uphill grass gallops, and miles of woodland trails. Combined with our experienced staff, private laboratory and resident vet we are in a perfect position to give our equine residents the best possible start to their racing careers.
