Ballylinch Stud is renowned as a rich source of top-quality runners, notably the fourteen top level winners that have graduated from our sales consignment to racetrack success. We consign foals, yearlings, mares and horses-in-training through all the major European sales houses.

Over the past 30 years, we have sold in excess of three hundred yearlings which have realised over €100,000, including 8 millionaire yearlings. Ballylinch also sold the most expensive yearling fillies in Europe in 2018 and 2019, for €3,200,000 and €3,000,000 respectively. Notable graduates of the Ballylinch sales consignment include 2yo Group 1 winners Belardo, Chriselliam, Aunt Pearl, Together Forever, Astaire and Sudirman, along with Oaks heroine Forever Together and Al Wukair, winner of the Prix Jacques le Marois. More recently Group 1 Bayside Boy and Group 2 winners Francesco Guardi and Isabella Giles have been sold under the Ballylinch banner.

2023 was another excellent sales season, with 66 lots selling for an average of €200,000, that’s over €13,000,000 in aggregate sales. The highlights were our two millionaire yearlings, the full sister to Gr.1 winner Saffron Beach realised €1,650,000 at the Goffs Orby Sales, while our homebred colt by Lope de Vega out of Bella Estrella sold for 1,100,000gns at Tattersalls Book 1 after his full brother Iberian scored a Group 2 victory in the Champagne Stakes. On the track, further Group success was achieved by Place du Carrousel, Carl Spackler, Jumby and Garrus and these were only a few of the over 100 winners and 20 Stakes horses sold/raised by Ballylinch in 2023 alone.
